TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu who is touring Adilabad district has reiterated that TDP was not against Telangana region. He said it was TDP, which developed Telangana region. Also, he said he never spoke anything against Telangana and would never speak anything against it in future. Observers said Babu subtly said TDP would give its decision in favour of Telangana state.

Commenting on YSR Congress, Babu said YSR Congress party was ready to merge with Congress party in case the latter manages to withdraw cases against Jaganmohan Reddy. It has to be mentioned here that it was Congress leader Shankar Rao, who filed petition against Jaganmohan Reddy following which Andhra Pradesh High Court ordered CBI probe. To make a point he said even TRS was ready to merge with Congress.
