The ex wife of 'titular Nizam of Hyderabad,' Manolya Onur has rejected the deal by Nizam's lawyer who directed her 21-year-old daughter Niloufer to sign a document as she was entitled to get four crore rupees from Nizam's Jewellery Trust. Turning down this, Manolya Onur said she would not accept anything less than Chiran Palace, which is worth around Rs.2000 crore.

It may be noted that 79-year-old Mukarram Jah, a decendant of Nizams (who once ruled Hyderabad after Qutub Shahis) is one of the richest persons in India. He is the owner of many properties, which include historical Falaknuma Palace and Chowmahalla Palace (where the last de facto sovereign of Hyderabad, Mir Osman Ali Khan (VII Nizam) used to stay.

Mukarram Jah is the grandson of Mir Osman Ali Khan. He also had a close relationship with the first prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru. He first married Turkish princess Esra Birgin in 1959 and divorced her when she refused to move with him to Australia. Later, he married a former air hostess Helen. After her death, he entered into wedlock with former Miss Turkey Manolya Onur. Currently the property rights of Mukkaram Jah rests with his first ex-wife while the third ex-wife entered into legal battle for her rights.
