Association in Delhi condemns attack on Brahmins

Andhra Brahmana Seva Samithi, an association based in Delhi, condemned the attack on Brahmins by followers of Manchu Vishnu and Mohanbabu in front of their residence on Wednesday. Condemning the incident, the members of the associations have questioned as to how far it was fair to make films insulting the religions in the pretext of entertainment. It may be recalled that a few members allegedly manhandled the protestors in front of Mohanbabu's residence. Reacting on the same, Vishnu said he was a Hindu and stressed he would never insult Brahmins. Nonetheless, he said his security persons had to react that way since the protestors tried to barge into their residence.

It may be noted that Denikaina Ready movie, which was released on Dasara became a block buster hit. After a couple of days of movie release, a few members claiming themselves from Brahmin community allegedly protested against the screening of the movie stating that certain scenes in the movie insulted the Brahmin community.
