Congress MP Chiranjeevi's induction into the union cabinet seems to have ignited the hopes among several new legislators from the ruling Congress. Since there has been news in the air that chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy is also going to reshuffle his cabinet, many new MLAs are of the opinion that they should also be inducted into the cabinet putting aside the principle of YSR, who apparently said new comers should not be given chance as said by Sonia Gandhi.
The first time MLA s are reportedly arguing that when Sonia Gandhi herself nodded and inducted not just Chiranjeevi but Killi Kruparani and Balaram Naik into the cabinet (three became MP s for the first time), which showed that first time leaders can be inducted into the cabinet. Currently Jayasudha, Jogi Ramesh, Kannababu, Sridhar Krishna Reddy, Baji Reddy, Ravi and Kantha Rao are in the race for cabinet berths. The observers said that in the wake of these arguments and demands, chief minister is unlikely to revamp his cabinet.
