The annual Brahmotsavams at Tirumala during navaratri are scheduled to begin on October 15 and they would conclude on October 23. Since there would be Dasara holidays in the state, a large number of devotees are expected to take part in the Brahmotsavams. Therefore, TTD is making all arrangements for ensuring that devotees don't face inconvenience. For the first time, steps are being taken so that that harathi would be given by non-VIPs too when deity is taken around for a procession in four madaveedis (streets encircling sanctum sanctorum).
It may be recalled that last month salakattu Brahmotsavams were conducted grandly at Tirumala wherein scores of devotees sought blessings of Srivaru after which they had a glimpse of deity's procession in madaveedulu.
