The Telangana Joint Action Committee chairman Prof Kodandaram has said that there was no need to react on the statements made by the union home minister Sushil Kumar Shinde on Telangana.  He said that those statements were not officials and therefore they would not be taken into consideration. He even mentioned that strong forces were trying to obstruct Telangana state formation.

Also, he said they were planing to exert pressure on the centre. It may be noted that Sushil Kumar Shinde said he had no clear idea on Telangana and an all party meet on the issue might not be convened in near future.

Talking about Telangana March, Kodandaram has said that he would meet Andhra Pradesh Governor ESL Narasimhan and inform him about the march. He even mentioned that all associations and students would take part in the march.
