The union minister of state for railways, Muniappa has flagged off Hyderabad-Bidar Inter City Express train on Monday. Mr. Muniappa has said that one could travel on this train for low fares and arrive at their destinations faster.  The Karnataka former chief minister Dharam Singh along with Muniappa have travelled on this train to Zaheerabad from Bidar. Later, they took part in the felicitation programme wherein Geeta Reddy was also present.
