If buzz is to be believed, Zee 24 Ghantalu, the 24 hours news channel in the state is going to shut down its office forever on September 21. The sources said that the employees of this vernacular news
channels were asked to leave the office on or before 20. It has to be mentioned here that the channel was said to be running in losses due to which the management took this decision, said sources.
The sources even mentioned that the channel failed to mobilise at least half the amount of the annual expenditure on this channel. Starting in 2009, Zee 24 Ghantalu was a part of Zee group. Notably, Zee is planning to launch an English channel soon. The media analysts have said that it was due to 14 channels in the state, the advertisements tariff dipped.
