The ill fated Mahatma Gandhi Medical Hospital in Warangal that was in the news more often, for all wrong reasons was visited by the Medical Education Minister Kondru Murali Mohan on Sunday. Close on the heels of reported deaths of infants in the hospital the Minister had visited to take a stock of the issues, today. During his visit the Minister observed that the deaths were not due to the Doctors but due to insufficient medical facilities in the hospital.
The Minister assured that he would put forth a proposal to the government to provide 20 ventilators to the hospital. He added that the government shall provide some more facilities for infant medication with in the next twenty days. He also said that those employees who had been on temporary basis and who are found efficient, would be considered for being employed in the hospital. (With inputs from internet-AW AarKay)
