Saint urges CM to put a check to other religious preaching

The increasing other religious preachings in at Hindu pilgrimage centres such as Tirumala, Sri Kala Hasthi and Srisailam has irked a saint, Paripurnanandha Swamy. The saint met chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy and urged him to put a check to such illegal preachings. Paripurnanandha Swamy expressed his anguish over ignoring the Government Order (GO) which bans other religious preachings at Hindu pilgrimage centres.

He has also reportedly told the chief minister that only people who practice Sanathana Dharma (the law of universe) should be allowed to work at temples in all the departments. Further, he urged CM to renovate the temple of Mother Vakulamba, the mother of Sri Lord Venkateshwara Swamy, in Tirumala.

The sources said Kiran Kumar Reddy responded positively towards the appeal made by Paripurnandha Swamy.
