In the wake of allegations that there are coverts in Congress, minister Shailajanath has said that there were no coverts in Congress party. He has also said that PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana would take due course of action on the necessary leaders based on the report given by Sudhakar Babu. He has asked the leaders to discuss the issues in the party meets and not on public forums.

Answering to one of the questions of the reporters, Shailajanath has said that all political parties should come forward in order to safeguard the interests of the state. He made these statements in the wake of allocation of KG basin gas to Maharashtra.
