In a strange incident, power cut halted a wedding ceremony at Srinivasa Mangapuram in Tirupati on Friday. The bridegroom has denied to tie the nuptial knots to his beloved as there was a power cut. Arrangements were all in place for the wedding of a new couple at Srinivasa Mangapuram, on the outskirts of Tirupati. It was believed that Lord Sri Venkateshwara Swamy lived here after marrying Goddess Padmavathi Ammavaru before moving to Tirumala.
So, people consider this place as auspicious for entering into wedlock. Some people even pray God at the temple that they would tie knots here in case their wedding is fixed. And at such a holy place, a foolish incident took place. Believing that power cut was a bad omen, groom called off the marriage creating panic among the parents of bride.
