The workers union at Vishaka Steel Plant gave strike notice to the management against the disinvestment. The sources said that the mangement was all set to announce the disinvestment on July 25. The workers opined that the disinvestment would damage their lives to the core and they said they had been raising voice against the same for quite sometime. But the management ignored their pleas and decided to go ahead with disinvestment, added the workers.  Workers said that they would go on for strike from July 25. The management is yet to respond on this strike notice.
