TTD EO L V Subramanyam has said that a ring road would be constructed in Tirumala, the abode of Sri Venkateshwara Swamy, soon. He has said that the ground work was underway. The ring road was aimed at reducing the traffic besides decreasing the vehicle pollution. He has also said that Sri Venkateshwara temple would be constructed at Kurukshetra in Haryana. It is known that Kurukshetra is the historic place, where the war between Pandavas and Kauravas took place, when Lord Vishnu incarnated of Lord Sri Krishna.

Tirumala is one of the most visited places across the globe. Even non-Hindu foreign nationals, who get attracted by Sanatana Dharma, seek blessings of Lord Venkateshwara. The legend has it that Lord Vishnu comes down to earth from Vaikuntam in search of Goddess Sri Maha Lakshmi and self manifested at Tirumala (on seven giant hillocks).
