Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) pioneering the seperate Telangana state, carved out of the erstwhile Unified Andhra Pradesh, a reality, proposes a massive meeting during the day at Hyderabad. The movement plans to discuss the various future course of actions to take their proposal forward. After a hiatus of nearly six months the committee plans to embark on a massive protest in the region. TJAC formed in 2009 with leading parties of the region coming together on a common platform to intensify the separatist motion, diluted later. Of the four constituents Telangana Rashtra Samithi and Bharatiya Janata Party, though at logger heads seem to partially unite to carry forward the mission. While the other two parties Congress and Telugu Desam Party have parted ways with the TJAC.
Just before the Parakala byelections even BJP and TRS were quite uncordial. On the other hand various employee organisations of the area also joined the TJAC. Infact TRS and TJAC also had some issues before the elections. However things have been sorted out, say sources.
As of today the TJAC proposes to meet leaders of the organisation from the various districts in the region and proposes to discuss the modus operandi to carry forward the agitation. Sources say that the organisation spear headed by Prof Kodandaram might take the agitation forward with a massive protest like the Sakala Janula Samme last year. This time the leaders would discuss the various political issues that have cropped up during the recent times in the state. May be a massive protest might commence from August/September.
The protest is quite fine till it does not affect the education sector feel parents of children. As most educational institutes in the Telangana region were almost closed for nearly two months last academic year. (With inputs from internet- AW AarKay)
