On account of Tholi Ekadasi, which is considered as the most pious day by all those who follow Sanatana Dharma, temples in the state are filled with devotees. There's a belief that Sri Maha Vishnu (Lord Vishnu) slips into yoga state today and will wake up after four months. All the devotees of Srihari (Lord Vishnu) will leave behind the bodily pleasures and perform Chaturmasya Vratham. It is believed that those who chants the name of Vishnu on Ekadasi unconditionally will reach Vaikuntam.
