The call list issue of CBI joint director Lakshmi Narayana is going to be a pain in the neck of Maharashtra police as a special team from central crime station (CCS) is going to leave for Maharashtra for looking into alleged involvement of Maharashtra police in the call list case. It is known that Lakshmi Narayana (who is currently CBI joint director) is an IPS officer of Maharashtra cadres. Therefore, there are apparently many doubts regardning involvement of Maharastra police in the issue.
The call list of Lakshmi Narayana was leaked by a detective agency in Nanded. A private detective agency gave a fake complaint that detectives in disguise were getting threatening calls from a particular number. And that number was CBI JD Lakshminarayana's. Before giving the call list, the police will look into the number and find out whether the number is from the same state or the other state. And if it from other state, the police needs to take the permission from the neighbouring state. There are so many questions whether Maharashtra police overlooked all these aspects or gave the call list to the detective agency knowing it was CBI JD Lakshminarayana's number. These things will be ascertained only after an enquiry.
