The newly married couple, Ram Charan Teja and Upasana have visited Tirumala and sought the blessings of Lord Venkateshwara in the early hours of Saturday. They reached Bangaru Vakili (the entrance of sanctum sanctorum) during VIP break in the morning. The family members of Chiranjeevi were given theertha prasadaalu (prasadam) by the temple authorities at Ranganayakulu Mantapam on the temple premises.

The family first arrived at Tiruchanur in a special flight and first sought blessings of Sri Padmavathi Ammavaru (Goddess Padmavathi) and later reached Tirumala. Ram Charan and Upasana will take part in Kalyanotsava (daily seva) at Tirumala today. From Tirumala, Chiru's family would arrive at Aragonda (the native place of Dr. Pratap Reddy) and offer prayers at Ardhagiri Veeranjaneya Swamy. Later, Chiranjeevi's family would kick start a water purification plant and schools at Aragonda.
