KVP & Moily took signatures before cremation of YSR

In the wake of Congress leaders leveling allegations against YSR Congress president Jaganmohan Reddy stating that Jagan collected the signatures of legislators for chief minister’s post much before the cremation of late YSR, the daughter of late YSR, Sharmila said it was KVP Ramachandra Rao (a close friend of YSR) and Veerappa Moily (the then in charge of AP affairs) who took the signatures in favour of Jagan. She made these statements on the last day of election campaigning in Tirupati.

Sharmila-who had taken aback after hearing Kiran Kumar Reddy saying that Congress leaders would have saved YSR had they predicted chopper accident-has said that Kiran would have not hesitated to put YSR behind bars if the leader was alive.

While Sharmila taking on CM was nothing new, but her statements against Chiranjeevi has irked a large number of people in the state who were reportedly finding fault with the statements. Sharmila accused Chiranjeevi of selling 18 MLAs on wholesale basis for an MP seat and made 70 lakh people-who voted for him-go nuts.

Meanwhile, mother of YS Jagan, Vijayamma has urged the people in Tirupati to provide them justice. She said late YSR—after a relentless fight of 25 years and two padayatras-brought Congress to power twice and now the same party has started haunting them.

All in all, the sympathy factor for YS family, might turn fruitful in many constituencies but apparently not in Tirupati as Chiranjeevi has a huge fan base in Tirupati and that constituency fall vacant only after Chiru willfully resigned for MLA post and entered national politics to make social justice come close to scores of the people who votes for him.  So, its evident that people in Tirupati like Chiranjeevi and that’s the reason why he became Tirupati legislator. And now Chiru himself asked people in Tirupati to vote for Congress candidate in that constituency. So, chances for Congress party’s victory in Tirupati are bright.

By-elections, which will take place to 18 assembly constituencies and one Lok Sabha constituency   would take place on June 12. The fate of all the candidates would be sealed tomorrow. And the results would reveal who were people’s choices.
