Anti-Corruption Bureau has stepped up its operations in scanning the illegal liquor syndicate across the state. As per sources in the Yousufguda region eleven shops have been operated by one person on benami names. ACB on the look out for one Ajay Goud was the son of the local corporator Murali Goud belonging to the Telugu Deasm Party. Ajay who was at large for some days has been taken into control by the ACB today at Hyderabad.
Ajay alleged to be running the syndicate of liquor shops has been asked by the ACB to attend for questioning. And he had been missing for the last four days. Last night the accused had been nabbed by the ACB sleuths. It is rumored that the ACB will filing a detailed report on Monday.
Critics feel that the report shall list the names of many involved in the racket. However many believe that the report will also have some prominent names that could ruin the chances of the concerned parties in the forthcoming by-polls scheduled on Tuesday. (with inputs from internet-AarKay)
