YSR Cong calls for bandh, zero response in Hyd

With the arrest of Jaganmohan Reddy irking the followers the activists and leaders of YSR Congress, the police across the state made tight security arrangements to avoid any untoward incidents. As a part of the same, police have been beefed up in Hyderabad-especially in Nampally area-where the CBI Court exists. It is known that Jagan would be shifted to CBI Court from Dilkusha Guest House to produce him before the court.

Hyderabad came under the strict vigilance of police. Rajbhavan Road in the city is kept closed by the city traffic police. The police have also appealed to the public to support the traffic changes that came into force in the wake of Jagan’s shifting to court from Dilkusha Guest House.

YSR Congress calls for bandh:

Condemning Jaganmohan Reddy’s arrest, YSR Congress party has called for a bandh across the state. Although RTC cancelled some of its services in many parts of the state, city buses plied without any change in the schedule. The bandh literally evoked zero response in Hyderabad.             (Ph)
