A high-level fraud by an educated person came to light when the task force police arrested the 28-year-old Madhusudhan Reddy P, an MBA graduate from Kadapa. Madhusudhan was said to have completed his post graduation in business management with marketing as his specialization subject from one ICFAI in Hyderabad.
The police said that the accused purportedly duped Rs. 27 lakhs from 15 unemployed youths promising them that they would get jobs. Each had paid Rs. 1. 5 lakh rupees to Madhusudhan for lucrative jobs in Food Corporation of India. Madhusudhan was supposed to handover this amount to a broker-who he met years ago. This broker apparently gave Rs. 5000 to Madhusudhan each time he referred engineering students in management quota. Later, the broker reportedly told Madhusudhan that he would fetch a job in FCI for Rs. 1.5 lakhs. Madhusudhan collected the amount and instead of handing it over to the broker, he kept the money with him.
In order to please the candidates from whom he took money, Madhusudhan printed fake appointment letters. The candidates who later got to know that they were taken for a ride approached the police.
Youths should never think of becoming successful overnight. Buying jobs or bribing officials is something that’s not permitted by law. As long as people like 15 candidates who paid money to Madhusudhan exists, many such Madhusudhan's will keep popping out.
