The TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has alleged that the prime accused in the suitcase bomb case-that was aimed at elimination TDP MLA later Paritala Ravi-was Kadapa MP Jaganmohan Reddy. Babu said Jagan would have been behind the bars now had his name was not removed from the case. He has reminded that then chief minister Y S Rajashekara Reddy created ruckus in the assembly when Jaganmohan Reddy’s name was included in the accused list in the suitcase bomb case. He has said Krishna-the close aide of Jagan-is now behind the bars as the court ordered him five years of imprisonment after he was found guilty in the case.
Krishna along with the accused in Suri’s murder case, Bhanu Kiran produced some movies and even spoiled the chastity of actresses, he added.
Further, he said Congress leaders, instead of taking up welfare activities, had been misusing the power. The leaders increased the prices of liquor in the state and indulged in 15 crore rupees scam, he said.
Chandrababu Naidu has opined that YSR Congress party was corrupt to the core from the time of its birth. He said although Sonia Gandhi visited Tirumala and sought blessings of Lord Venkateshwara, Jagan didn’t even throng the temple once and how could he do justice to the people in Tirupati, he questioned.
The YSR Congress party is presumably maintaining strategic silence over the same. (Phani)
