The AICC spokes person and the union minister, Vayalar Ravi who has been deputed by the AICC president to look into the party affairs in the state is touring East and West Godavari districts.
Vayalar Rav-who was in West Godavari district on Thursday-has addressed the media. He has said that the differences in a political party are quite common. However, everyone will come together and strive hard for the success of the Congress party in the by-polls, he added.
After he arrived at Rajahmundry from Hyderabad, Vayalar Ravi headed to Koyyalagudem by road. He met a few tobacco farmers and enquired their problems. It has to be mentioned here that TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu-who is also on tour in these districts-spoke to tobaccos farmers on Wednesday.
Vayalar Ravi later held meeting with the party members. On the other hand, the chief minister Kiran Kumar Reddy was getting ready for a meeting on by-poll at his camp office. The Congress is presumably taking all efforts to ensure that no other Congress man tilts towards YSR Congress party. Also, it would apparently be a tough battle for the Congress in the by-polls given the fact the political charisma that YS Rajashekara Reddy had. (Phani)
