The CBI special court today deferred till March14 hearing on the anticipatory bail plea of Mr Srikant Joshi, CEO of the Emaar–MGF Ltd, one of the accused in the Emaar-APIIC land scam.

The court, however, ordered him to CBI custody for five days from March 5 and directed the investigating agency to question him in the presence of his lawyers between 10 am and 5 pm daily.

Asking the CBI not to arrest him till further orders, special judge Nagamaruthi Sarma also deferred till March 7 hearing on the bail petition of Vijayaraghava, another accused in the Emaar scam. (J)
