A liquor addict was killed by his two sisters in Hyderabad last night for misbehaving with them in an inebriated condition.

Police said the two sisters, Surekha and Lakshmi, and their brother Srinivas are staying together in Meerpet Sirla Colony near Dilshuknagar. Srinivas, a habitual drinker, is working as a driver and has been harassing them sexually after reaching home in a drunken state daily.

The sisters told him repeatedly not to misbehave with them and warned him several times they would go to any extent to stop his behaviour. But Srinivas continued with his objectionable behavior, said police.

According to police, he came home in a drunken state last night also and started misbehaving with them. Angered by his objectionable behaviour, the sisters took into their hands a handy huge wooden rod and banged his head with it resulting in his instant death.

The sisters then went to a nearby police station and informed the police about the incident. (JUBS)
