From the past two years We have experienced various bandhs in the state which is known to every one.So now here we are going to see a variety of bandh on February 23, which looks so strange for every one to hear.So this time the bandh is going to be ‘Movies Bandh’.Yes as what you heard is right, The Film Federation of India is planning to meet with many local bodies in concerns to the expected service tax on films.Infact a abstarct booklet has been sent to the producer’s association and formore regional bodies.

K Ravi who is the president of Film Federation of India, says that “The Film Industry from very long time is encountering inconsiderate troubles which belongs to many issues and revenue losses.So now burden of service tax will seriously influence scores of producers.Already South Indian Film Chamber of Commerce preparing to file a case opposite to the expected service tax. If there is no agreeable answer from the government, So for one day that is going to Feb 23 all the cinema halls in the country will shut down".
