YSR Congress Party president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy had a bitter experience last night when some people hurled eggs on him at Bayyavaram village of Krosuru Mandalam in Guntur district during the second leg of his Odarpu Yatra.

The incident took place when Jagan was heading towards the SC colony to unveil his father’s statue.

Reports said some of the eggs hit him on face and backside leading to lathicharge and arrest of some persons by the police. The incident resulted in mild tension for a while in the village. Some of the villagers questioned police action and objected to the lathicharge.

Jagan began the second leg of his yatra in Guntur district only on Wednesday and this was first time that Jagan was greeted with eggs anywhere in the state. (JUBS)
