The theme of the summit, which will be held from 11 to 13 January, is "New Age Innovation Partnerships".
The prestigious partnership summit is being held in the state. As the theme suggests `New Age Innovation Partnerships,’ which will focus mainly on garnering investments in growth sectors like education, skill development, healthcare, pharmaceuticals, Information Technology, tourism and food processing. The summit is being held at the Hyderabad International Convention Centre, Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh
The state Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, being the host of the summit will deliver the key address with a power point presentation on the advantages and the opportunities available in the state. The summit will be graced by the presence of the Union Minister Anand Sharma. Investors from 46 countries are participating in the summit.
The CMO on Sunday said through an official communiqué, `recently, in just one day, the State Investment Promotion Board cleared 30 investment proposals worth Rs 76,552.44 crore with an employment potential of 71,908. The proposals cover industries like automobile, textiles, chemical and petro-chemical, glass industries and metallurgy’ the CM added that Andhra Pradesh would prove to be an investment magnet of the country during the Global Partnership Summit. The summit is expected to garner an investment of Rs. 3.14 lakh Cr and expected to create an employment potential of 2,49,219, as per the present approvals by the government. More is in the offing.
