Tollywood hero Nag had surprised his fans and the Telugu cine goers with the first look of his tonsured head.

Nag had tonsured his head to fulfill his past vows towards the Lord of the Seven Hills and also in tune with the requirement of the role of Sai Baba he will portray in his forthcoming film ‘Shirdi Sai Baba’, according to reports.

Nagarjuna stole the hearts of Telugu audiences by acting vivaciously in the movies ‘Annamaiah’ and ‘Sri Ramadass’ in the past and he wants to play the role of the revered saint Sai Baba with the same gusto and humility.

For playing the role of Sai Baba, a tonsured head suits any one perfectly and more so with Nagarjuna. The actor feels that his role as Sai Baba will attract some additional fervor of sanctity if he goes on the sets with a tonsured head to don the spiritual role. (JUBS)
