President Smt Pratibha Patil today returned to Delhi ending her 11-day winter retreat in Hyderabad.
Pratibha Patil came to Hyderabad on Dec 25 and stayed at the Rashtrapathi Nilayam situated amid military barracks at Bolaram in Secunderabad. During her stay in Hyderabad, she participated in some official programmes.
She also paid a visit to the ISRO centre at Srihari Kota near Nellore coast and interacted with the space scientists and reviewed the on going space programmes.
The president left for Delhi at 4.30 pm by a special IAF plane and Governor ESL Narasimhan and his wife, chief minister Kirankumar reddy, deputy chief minister Damodar Rajanarasimha and several ministers and senior officials saw her off at the Beguam Pet airport. (JUBS)
