The cold war between PCC chief Botsa Satyanarayana and PRP chief Mr Chiranjeevi on the one hand and chief minister Kirankumar reddy on the other seems to be reaching new dimensions as the CM looked adamant on disposing whatever is proposed by the former.
The latest thorn in their relations came in the way of the election of deputy mayor of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation. Reports said the PRP chief Chiranjeevi requested Botsa to ensure the election of lone PRP corporator Mr Narasimha Yadav as deputy mayor.
Botsa reportedly gave an assurance to the actor turned politician that he would ensure the election of Narasimha Yadav as deputy mayor and conducted several meetings of the congress corporators to seek their support. He also expressed the wish of Chiranjeevi to the Chief Minister and Ministers Danam Nagender and Mukesh Goud and sought their support.
When everything was going smooth favoring the PRP candidate, Secunderabad MP Anjan Kumar Yadav had suddenly brought up the name of Mr Rajakumar and ensued his victory as the Deputy Mayor. Reports said Anjan Kumar Yadav acted on the instructions of Kirankumar to defeat the designs of Botsa. (JUBS)
