Police today raided the Sai Iswarya Resorts near the Pasumamula village of Hayatnagar Mandalam on the outskirts of Hyderabad on a tip-off that some girls were dancing obscene on the occasion of the birthday of a minister’s relative.

They have arrested 11 girls for dancing obscene in the presence of a gathering at the birthday bash.

To celebrate his birthday, the minister’s relative had thrown a costly party for his friends and well wishers and as part of the entertainment for his VIP guests, he has roped in young girls from Rajasthan, Punjab and Hyderabad.

Much to the chagrin of the minister’s relative and the attending guests, police descended on the resort and played the spoilsport while the girls were entertaining them with their naked and half naked dances.

Unfortunately, the girls were caught by the police while some 30 persons, mostly youngsters who came to witness the dances, escaped from the spot. Police also seized four cars from the resorts and registered a case against the resorts management.   (JUBS)
