The special CBI court at Nampally today extended till Dec 15 the judicial custody of Mr Rajagopal, former director of the mining department and accused number 4 in the illegal mining case involving the former Karnataka minister Mr Gali Janardhan reddy.

The special court also heard today arguments on the bail petition of Mr Koneru Prasad, accused in the APIIC-Emaar land scam and reserved its order for Dec 12.

The court also completed hearing on the petition filed by Sakshi daily vice chairman and auditor Mr Vijayasai reddy alleging that the CBI has been exceeding its limits in the investigation of the case relating to the alleged illegal properties of YSR Congress president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy.

Special judge Nagamaruthy Sarma has reserved his orders on the petition for Dec 13. (JUBS)
