If you are one of the possible 1000 plus invitees to the mega engagement function, don’t forget to carry your invitation having a computerized bar code. If you carry the invite, it will only be code-read and you will be allowed into the venue at Golconda Resorts near the Golconda Fort on the outskirts of Hyderabad.

If you don’t carry your card, you will still be allowed into the venue but of course only after a special committee, consisting of members from both families, identifies you.

You are supposedly to be at the venue well in advance for the pre-fixed muhurtham of 7.30 PM which will be followed by a musical extravaganza and a sumptuous dinner.

Reports said the arrangements for the engagement function have already begun on a grand note with the event management and private security personnel taking over the venue.

Access to the function will be limited to the near relatives and close allies of the two families going by the invitations extended. A few VIPs like the Governor ESL Narasimhan and his wife, Chief Minister Kirankumar Reddy, PCC chief Mr Botsa Satyanarayana, Bollywood Big B Amitabh Bachchan, TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu and the like will be gracing the function.

Earlier reports said that the young couple will have their engagement function at the Domakonda Fort in Nizamabad district but they were proved to be wrong. (JUBS)
