CBI officials, who have arrested the IAS officer Sri Lakshmi in the illegal mining case, produced her before the special CBI Court at Nampally this evening.
The court however asked the CBI officials to produce her before it tomorrow morning. The special judge Nagamaruthi Sarma will pass orders on the CBI application seeking her custody for a period of 15 days.
Later, the CBI shifted her to the CBI office at Koti in Hyderabad with the help of women police. CBI in its arrest report told the special court that Srilakshmi has been planning to escape to foreign countries.
They also expressed the fear that she may try to influence the evidences with the help of her IPS husband Mr Gopi Krishna. Two women police constable are taking care of her at the CBI office.
