Four MLAs owing allegiance to the YSR Congress party president Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy today met the Speaker Mr Nadendla Manohar and explained on their resignations.
MLAs Adinarayana reddy, G.Babu Rao, T. Balaraju and P. Ravi met the speaker and requested him to take a decision on their resignations. Babu Rao told journalists later that they would abide by the decision of the Speaker on their resignations, whatever it would be. “News reports that we are going back to the congress fold is false and we will remain with Jagan only,” he said.
On Thursday, three MLAs of the Jagan group met the Speaker and explained on their resignations. What transpired in their meetings was not leaked out.
Meanwhile, T region congress MLAs who have quit from the assembly Mr Jupally Krishna Rao, Jogu Ramanna, Rajaiah, Somarapu Satyanarayana and Hariswara reddy were asked to meet the Speaker and explain on their resignations. The office of the Speaker called them two days ago.
However, these MLAs informed the Speaker’s office that they are busy with their Padayatra in Telangana and would be able to meet him after Nov 22. The Speaker has reportedly become angry over their response and is planning to take a decision on their resignations without seeking any further explanation from them.
