CBI sleuths have begun the interrogation of the APIIC-Emaar land scam accused Mr Koneru Prasad in the Dilkusha guest house in Hyderabad today.

Mr Prasad, who has been remanded to CBI custody for a week by the economic offenses court at Nampally, is being kept at the CCS lock up in the nights and is being brought to the guest house early in the morning for interrogation.

CBI turned innovative today in his interrogation by making him sit along with the persons who bought lands and villas in the Emaar Township on the outskirts of Hyderabad by paying huge amounts of black money.

The agency was trying to corroborate his statements with the plot and villa buyers then and there by cross choking the details with them.

Mr Prasad, also known as Dubai Prasad, was arrested by the CBI three days ago for his role in the Emaar scam which has reportedly caused a loss of revenue to the state government to the tune of Rs.4300 Cr.

A CBI source said that the agency has decided extract all the information from him before Nov 10.
