Gali remand extended till Nov 14

GaliJanarthanreddyThe special CBI court of Hyderabad today extended the judicial remand of the mining mafia don Mr Gali Janardhan reddy and his brother-in-law Mr BV Srinivasa Reddy till Nov 14 in the illegal mining case.

They were arrested on Sept 5 two years after the CBI registered cases against Obulapuram Mining Company on December 7, 2009 at the request of state government.

Both of them are presently lodged in the Chanchalguda jail of Hyderabad. The CBI is working overtime to finish the investigation as soon as possible and prepare the charge sheet in the illegal mining case.

Recently, CBI has opened an office at Bellary town to speed up the probe and take the case to a logical conclusion.

Till now, the CBI court has rejected the bail pleas of the mining baron twice after his arrest nearly two months ago.
