Transport Minister and PCC Chief Mr Botsa Satyanarayana said today there is some delay in the payment of salaries to the RTC staff but the RTC management would surely pay salaries to its employees.

Speaking at the flagging off function to introduce the Indra AC buses at Parade Grounds in Secunderabad this morning, the minister said there is some procedural delay in payment of salaries to the employees and asked them not to get worried unduly over the issue.

He along with the finance minister Anam Ramnarayana Reddy inaugurated the Indra AC buses meant for low budget consumers. These buses are introduced as an alternative to the costly Volvo buses. In the first bunch, 300 such buses have been introduced today and they will be run between Hyderabad and various district centers.

Simultaneously, the RTC management has also introduced some CNG run buses in the city in the first phase.
