Telangana political JAC convener Prof Kodanda Ram said today that the extended meeting of the political JAC has unanimously decided to continue the mass general strike till Telangana state is attained.

Speaking to media persons after the meeting in Hyderabad, Kodanda ram said that the strike would be continued as per the decision of the JAC. “Further, the strike will be intensified,” he said.

Kodanda Ram demanded the state government to postpone the APPSC Group-2 examinations scheduled for Oct 15 and 16 in Hyderabad and at several towns in the state. “The students are not in a position to take the examinations as they are very much disturbed due to the strike,” said Kodanda ram.

The ministers must try to ensure that the examinations are postponed for the benefit of the Telangana people, Kodanda ram said.

The JAC convener also said that they have decided to conduct rallies in support of the striking RTC employees and Singareni Collieries workers. “Rallies will be taken out from tomorrow,” he said
