HC adjourns Gali petitions till Oct 14

GaliJenardhanReddyThe AP high court today adjourned till October 14 hearing on the bail petitions of the arrested mining mafia don Mr. Gali Janardhan reddy and his cousin Mr Srinivasa reddy.

Counsel sought quashing of the case registered against both the accused and their release on bail immediately. “The allegations of illegal mining are false and have no proof,” said the counsel in the petition. “The case should be quashed.”

The CBI arrested them for their involvement in the illegal mining and put them in the Chanchalguda jail on the orders of the CBI court at Nampally. The investigating agency also sought their custody for further interrogation to extract more information in the illegal mining case.

The Nampally court adjourned till September 29 hearing on both the CBI petition and the bail petitions of the arrested duo.
