Cong leaders make light of Jagan’s offer

JaganReacting to the YSR Congress party president, Mr YS Jaganmohan reddy’s offer to have a pact with the Congress-led UPA alliance at the Centre, congress leader and 20-point programme committee chairman Mr Tulasi Reddy said such a pact or support would not be much useful to the congress party.

Speaking to reporters at Mangalagiri in Guntur district after offering prayers at the Lord Narasimhaswamy temple, Tulasi Reddy said that Jagan is the only MP from his party in the Lok Sabha and his support to the congress party is immaterial.

Jagan said in an interview to the CNN-IBN on Tuesday that he had no objection to have a pact with the congress led UPA Government at the Centre. He also ruled out any alliance with the BJP or BJP led NDA at any point of time.

Mr Tulasi reddy was reacting to the statement. “Jagan is not greater than DMK MP Ms. Kanimozhi and his support doesn’t make any difference,” he said.

Meanwhile, Health Minister Dr DL Ravindra reddy expressed doubts over the congress party accepting the offer of Jagan to have a pact with the UPA. “He is corrupt to the core and how can the congress have alliance with him?” Ravindra Reddy asked during a media meet in Hyderabad.
