Hours after the former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu announced his properties and said he was worth Rs.39.88 Cr, NTR Telugu Desam president Ms. Lakshmi Parvathi charged him of having more properties in the benami names.
Speaking to media persons in Hyderabad, she said Chandrababu holds properties worth more than Rs.5000 Cr and accused him of lying in case of his properties. “It is true he holds assets in the names of benami and he must reveal those details also,” she said and demanded, “CBI should investigate Chandrababu’s properties too.”
Complimenting the TDP chief for his excellent acting skills in politics, she said even 20 Oscar Awards also would not be enough to recognize his talents in enacting political dramas. “There is no mention of the Studio-N Channel which was gifted to Lokesh for the help rendered in settling the marriage of Jr. NTR,” she said.
“When there was a dispute with regard to his properties in Singapore, mafia don Dawood Ibrahim settled the issue,” she alleged and asked Chandrababu to take a oath in the powerful Kanipakkam Vinayaka temple and reveal the truth of his properties.
