Finding fault with the affidavit of YSR Congress chief YS Jaganmohan Reddy that all ministers should share the responsibility for the decisions taken by his late father YSR, former chief minister K. Rosaiah, PCC chief and transport minister Botsa Satyanarayana, health minister Dr DL Ravindra Reddy and former Minister JC Diwakar Reddy made it clear that they would share the responsibility for the decisions but not the conspiracies entered into behind the decisions.
It might be mentioned that Jagan submitted an affidavit in the high court on Tuesday saying all ministers who were in the cabinet along with his late father YSR should share the responsibility for the government decisions taken during the YSR regime.
Four of them reacted immediately to the affidavit saying Jagan was trying to take political mileage with his action. While Botsa reacted in Delhi in a media conference, the other three also held press briefings in Hyderabad and decried Jagan for his affidavit.
“We agree we share the responsibility but we are not here to take blame for conspiracies, transfers of huge funds into various bank accounts of Jagan and other financial irregularities,” they said without mincing their words.

YSR colleagues decry Jagan, say they could not be held

Observing that the late chief minister YSR used to take decisions and put up the files in the cabinet for approval saying that land allotments would bring in huge investments, jobs to thousands of people and benefit to the state, Rosaiah and others said they were concerned up to that extent only and not to the conspiracies, secret agreements and understandings arrived into with business persons and industrialists by the members of the YSR family.
Botsa was more vocal when he said the ministers would be held responsible for the conspiracies also when the illegal booty was also shared by them. “Otherwise, our joint responsibility would be limited to the decision making only. We would not be connected in any way with the illegal favours and bribes received by the family members of the chief minister,” said Botsa.
The other ministers also said Jagan only would be held responsible for the illegal investments and favours received by his companies from those who got land allotments during the YSR regime.
