TDP MLAs too announce resignations

TDP MLAs too announce resignations Heightening the pitch of pressure over the Centre and on the congress leadership on the issue of Telangana, TDP MLAs of the Telangana region, taking a cue from the T congress MPs and MLAs, too announced their readiness to quit their posts on July 4.

Speaking to the media persons immediately after the Panchayat Raj Minister Jana reddy announced the decision of the T congress people’s representatives to resign their posts on July 4, TDP Telangana Forum convener Mr Errabilli Dayakara Rao said they would also quit their posts on the same day after taking an oath at the Martyrs Memorial. “We will also hand over our resignations on Monday to the presiding officers,” he said adding that they would finalize their programme at tomorrow’s meeting of MLAs.

Meanwhile, the suspended TDP leader Mr Nagam Janardhan reddy is going ahead with his plan of undertaking fast at the Indira Park on July 3, 4 demanding the formation of Telangana state. Former Minister Boda Janardhan reddy and Parigi MLA Harishwara reddy, who are staunch supporters of Nagam, released a poster marking the fast in Hyderabad and said all pro-Telangana groups and individuals have announced support to the hunger strike programme.
