In a ghastly incident, a pastor attached to a church in Nadendla today raped a girl and later burnt her to death. The police took the pastor into custody and are questioning.

Police said that the pastor Ajay trapped the girl as per his well laid out plan and raped her. To cover up the ghastly incident, he poured kerosene and burnt her to death.  The girl was taken to the GGH hospital at Chilakaluripet but the doctors declared her brought dead.

Police said that they had arrested the pastor at Chilakaluripet when he was trying to escape. They have registered a case against him under sections dealing with rape and murder.
