‘Agni’ scientist’s son kidnapped, killed

Agni  scientist s son kidnapped  killedUnidentified persons kidnapped and killed a 11-year old boy, son of a top defense scientist in Hyderabad on Monday.
 
The body of Pranav, son of Mr Ch Rammohan, a top DRDL scientist working on the Agni missile project, was found in a gunny bag in a drain near Gudimalkapur market in Hyderabad.
 
The boy’s parents lodged a complaint with police on Friday after they found him missing from their house. Police said the boy had been smothered to death and there are no external injuries on the body.
 
The boy, while going out around 12.15 pm on Friday, reportedly told a neighbor that he got a call from one of his friends and was going out with him. When the boy left the house, only his sister was at home and the neighbor watched the boy going out hurriedly.
 
Since the kidnapped boy’s father is a key defense scientist, the intelligence bureau has got instructions from Delhi to investigate the matter. “We don’t know if it is related to any classified information on the Agni missile project and we have yet to verify,” said a top police official who has now started the investigations along with Intelligence Bureau sleuths.
