
The Delhi High Court on Monday dismisses Cineyug Director Karim Morani’s bail plea, he is an accused in the 2G spectrum case, was on 30th may arrested and taken into judicial custody.
On Monday, the CBI had alleged that Mr. Morani took 6 crores for facilitating the Rs 200 crore transactions. The court did not accept the plea of the accused that he was entitled for bail as he was not arrested during the investigation of the case.
The court had earlier dismissed Mr. Morani’s anticipatory bail plea on medical ground, saying that as per May 19 reports received from the department of Cardiology and Neurosurgery of Mumbai’s J J Hospital, his condition is “stable and normal”.
Morani has been sent for judicial custody over the second generation telecom spectrum scam case.
