Alert staff of the Chief Minister Kirankumar reddy averted a major tragedy and saved his life today in his native village in Chittor district when cooking gas was found leaking from a cylinder in the kitchen of his house.

Kirankumar is on a two-day tour of the district and as part that came to his village Nagaripalli  this morning.

It was found that gas was leaking heavily from a cylinder in the kitchen when Kiran was talking to the MLAs Shajahan and CK Babu in the verandah. On noticing the gas leak in the kitchen which also contained two more full cylinders, the staff immediately took steps to stop it. They took out the regulator of the cylinder carefully and capped it.

The CM and the MLAs and other staff were asked to keep off at a distance while the staff tried to plug the leak.
